AI Use Explanation

This is an explanation of how AI was used on this website. This explanation was written with the ancient WordPerfect software and not edited with or by any AI platform. Trust me, that is not the best way to write these days. AI tools will, undoubtedly, review and hoot at this site after this is posted.

A young person told me/us that many people are suspicious of AI and any website that appears to have AI written stuff on it. At Ascher & Denton, we are very suspicious of any sane person who would not use AI or a computer or the internet to do work on a website these days, but we understand that you don’t want robot overlords to manipulate you into acting against your own best interests. This site is very much a human endeavor and we’ve removed all or almost al of the em dashes that we used to like before AI ruined everything by over-using them. We, by the way, have no intention or desire to manipulate you into acting against your own best interests.

We use several AI tools at Ascher & Denton. Grammarly is used most of the time, to make sure the commas are in the right places and for other suggestions, some of which are accepted and used. A paid version of Claude, whom we prefer to call Claudette, is used for research and suggestions for structure and content changes. Nothing from Claudette or any other AI tool is used without review and changes from an actual human being, usually Melissa Denton.

I use Comet/Perplexity AI for additional suggestions sometimes. I often look something up with Google. Their AI frequently answers but they don’t really help with writing this website very much. It is entirely possible that some other AI was encountered and influenced this writing, but ascherdenton.com is a site from humanoids and AI absolutely should not be used as your lawyer, or doctor, or other expert advisor. This website does not give legal advice.
